Eva is *the best*!!! She has taken care of our cat, Hugo, twice now, both times for two weeks. Hugo (who is not super friendly) just loves her! She sends text and picture updates every single day, so we can see how happy he is. She also takes very good care of our plants—I think they are better when we come home than when we left! Eva looks after the house, takes in mail, etc. I would (and will) strongly recommend her to any friends in need of pet care. Thanks, Eva!

I can’t say enough about Eva. She has been taking care of our Layla since we came home with her. She picks her up, takes her to different places throughout the city and drops her off. If we are in a pinch Eva is always there to watch her over night. We will never leave Chicago because that means leaving Eva! I would give ten stars if I could!

Eva takes care of my corgi Roscoe when I travel for work. Almost all of my work travel is super last minute, but whenever I text her that I'm heading out of town, she is able to accommodate me and pick up Roscoe. When he stays with her, she takes him to her daily dog playgroup and I get tons of photos from her of Roscoe playing with the other dogs at the beach, park, forest preserve...wherever they happened to go that day. She also has a great yard at her house that Roscoe loves to play in. He always comes home tired and well taken care of and sometimes I think he likes Eva more than me hah! Definitely recommend Eva if you want highly personalized and individualized care for your dog when you can't be with them!

Eva and her company are an absolute Godsend! If you are like us and love your four legged friend as if they are your child, you can pick no better person to take care of them like one of their own…. Eva is phenomenal with communication, pictures and updates, training, pickup and drop offs, affordability and everything else you can possibly think of. We’ll never use another dog walker or daycare service in Chicago. The BEST!

Other reviewers have said it, but two words sum up Eva: Dog Whisper! She knows just what your pet needs and takes fabulous care of all in her charge. We used her first with our dearly departed Annie (a French Bulldog who lived 14 1/2 happy years) and she knew when the old girl just need some rest and love. Eva now keeps our 2 year old, absolutely insane Pug when we travel and he comes back tired, shiny & beautiful (we have Eva groom him) and better behaved when he left! She sends us pictures while we are gone and just does an overall amazing job. We used to board him at a standard daycare/overnight place and will never go back! Highly recommend!

We have been using Eva for doggy daycare for nearly four years after getting referred to her by several friends. She cares so much about all of the dogs that are in her daycare. She checks in on them when they aren't feeling well and recommends ways to try to help them with whatever they might have going on, like my dog with anxiety, digestive problems, and more! My dog gets so excited to go to the beach and see his doggy friends that he runs around in circles when she comes to get him and is wiped out the rest of the day when he gets home. We get multiple pictures every day so we not only see how much fun he's having, but all of the doggy friends that he's playing with. We highly recommend Eva and she's beyond reliable, going out in any weather and situation!!

Eva has taken care of my cat, Boots for the last 4 1/2 years whenever I travel. Boots has some medical issues that require attention so that I'm not able to leave him alone for even a short weekend trip. Eva makes this easy for me! Eva pays special attention to any information and/or instructions I have for Boots and lets me know that everything is okay after each visit. Of course, she sends me pictures that are wonderful! Eva has a special touch with animals and is also very knowledgeable about their care. Boot absolutely loves her! I'm confident when I'm traveling that Boots is being cared for by someone who loves animals. It doesn't matter whether Boots requires standard cat care or suddenly escalates to more intensive attention - either way, Eva calms and handles him and I come home to a happy cat! Thank you, Eva!

Eva is such a joy to work with. Our dog, Toby, is very excited to go out with her for the daycare outings to the beach. She is truly the Dog Whisperer! She just has a special way with dogs. He really enjoys his new doggie friends. He comes home happy and tired, and much more relaxed. She is very consistent and reliable, she goes out through cold, rain, and snow. She is so patient with the dogs in her care and just so in tune with them and their needs. I would highly recommend her to anyone.

I've been using Eva's services for the past few months and I couldn't be happier. She takes wonderful care of my fur baby Clinton. I struggled to find the right daycare fit and thanks to a neighbor I was referred to Eva. From our initial meet and greet, I knew that Clinton would be in safe hands. When he got into an altercation at the beach one day, Eva made sure to call me and talk me through everything that happened. She was so worried that he wouldn't enjoy daycare knowing his history and our difficulty with daycare. The fact that she was worried and called me meant the world to me and reaffirmed my belief that my dog was in the right hands. Clinton is so tired when he comes home on Monday and Friday and I love that he's socializing with a smaller group of dogs and not cooped up at home!

I am so thankful that I found 4 Paws and Whiskers, Eva is absolutely wonderful. She genuinely loves her 4 legged clients and me and my pup Murphy could not be happier. Eva was the BEST! My cats were at home for a whole week. When I got home they didn't even want to see me... they wanted Eva! She played with them and sent us pictures/text of what they were up too that day. WILL CALL AGAIN!!

Eva is a true professional. She has not only been a dog walker, but she has been a phenomenal caretaker and has helped us “raise” a wonderfully caring and affectionate dog. As you can tell LuLu is very important to both me and my wife and Eva has been there to help with many things. She is consistent in helping with training and even gives us tips on what to do if we ever have issues or concerns with Lu’s health. In fact, after LuLu had knee surgery, Eva even carried her up and down the stairs daily, to make sure that she was properly taken care of and that we followed the doctor’s strict orders. Eva regularly alerts us if she feels anything is not “normal” with Lu and she is also our regular dog sitter if we ever travel where we cannot take LuLu with us.

I've used Eva for many years and she is the best dog sitter/walker I've ever had. I travel constantly and I never have to worry. She loves animals and it shows and is very responsive. The dogs play, have a great time and are exhausted when they come home, which is great, since I usually am, too. I've had good and bad dog sitters and Eva is the best! 4 Paws and Whiskers is VERY reliable! Very conscientious, responsive, honest, caring (loves all animals), knowledgeable (Eva catches things wrong with my dogs before me--long nails, a tumor that I didn't notice!!!, etc). Trustworthy.

I’m a huge fan of 4 Paws & Whiskers. Eva has a huge heart & a watchful eye. I have seen the affection she feels for all of the animals in her care, just as she has for her own. And I see how attentive she is to all of their needs. Eva is an awesome person to have caring for our dog when we are away. Caesar absolutely loves her and loves when she comes over to get him for his walks or for boarding. Eva is very interactive and attentive and always returns Caesar happy and without a scratch! I would highly recommend her!

I give Eva and 4 Paws and Whiskers the best review possible. Any dog lover knows that finding a trustworthy dog walker and sitter is of the utmost importance, so we feel so lucky that we found her to watch our little Boston Terrier Lulu. Eva has walked Lulu for the past three years now, and watches her when we are out of town, and Lulu absolutely loves her. Originally when she was a puppy she was very meek and was scared to interact with other dogs, after a few weeks with Eva, Lulu was a new dog, confident and ready to play with the others. When Lulu needed knee surgery a couple of years ago, Eva carried her up and down four flights of stairs daily for two months to let her go to the bathroom. She always alerts us of any possible health or behavioral issues, without prompting so I always feel good going to work knowing that Lulu will be well taken care of and kept safe!

We were so lucky to find Eva to care for our little boys- Briggs and Brody. She treats our dogs as if they were her own. That is the biggest compliment i can give. A great example is the time Briggs was sick and she stayed with him until one of us could get home from work it was hours of her time and she didn't think twice about it. Eva is not a dog walker, she is a dog nanny. We cannot recommend her highly enough.

Eva has been caring for Lucy since July, She is absolutely wonderful and Lucy could not be happier. Eva really loves her 4 legged clients. Her group walks are great, giving the dogs valuable time to chat and socialize. She is very flexible and accommodating with her schedule, which is extremely helpful for me. Last minute changes, taking Lucy for overnights, often on short notice. Lucy and I are very fortunate to have found Eva!!!

She is my dog walker, which is good, as I am a dog and I love to be walked. She takes such good care of me. I have so much fun when I am with her. She looks after me like I am her own dog. She would be the person I would want to stay with me if my parents went out of town. You should use her as your dog walker, so I can play with your special pet. I cant wait to meet them! I don't do a lot of endorsements, but I highly recommend 4 Paws and Whiskers. I am a Eurasier, a new breed of dog. I feel so lucky to have found Eva! My job requires me to work a lot and be gone for a week or so at a time – I can’t tell you the peace of mind. I get knowing the girls (Libby & Poppy) are safe, happy and playing. They get so excited when I get out the overnight bag at home and the squealing begins when we pull up to Eva's… they just love it there! Eva is also a total animal lover and so knowledgeable about animals in general. Libby is 11 and was having really stiff joints, Eva recommended a natural remedy and Libby was feeling better within days! She can also get the girls all spiffed up (nails, bath, etc…) before I get home…love it!

I am soo lucky to have found Eva and 4 Paws. My poochie, Keeva is in the best hands possible when they are together. Keeva comes home tired from playing, swimming and hanging out with the other dogs every time. Not only that, I know that Eva is keeping a close eye on my puppy in case anything is out of the ordinary. Eva does a great job keeping me up to date on what each day was like for Keeva and gives me a heads up if there are issues. Thankfully, Eva is also very flexible with changing dates and revisions to the weekly schedules which makes it easy to make plans for myself too. My Keeva is my baby and I am soo happy to be able to trust Eva with her and know that there is no other person I would rather her be with when I am busy. Thanks Eva, we love you!
